Plastic Shed

We find new and creative ways to reuse plastic waste that has been collected, cleaned and donated by our community, with around 12,000 regular donators!

We reuse these plastics in various ways - educational and creative workshops, recycled plastic products, and through large scale community recycled plastic murals.

In 2020 we opened the UKs first high street recycling hub in Stockport, and have recently moved, renovated and reopened to a larger location.

In 2024 we created The UKs largest recycled plastic bottle lid mural, reusing 80,000 lids and transforming them into a landscape of animals. Since then we have worked with over 200,000 people, creating murals with communities across the UK.

Our work is all about helping people reframe how they see 'waste' and introducing the possibilities there are to plastic!
