Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making this site usable for everyone.

Our commitment
Creative Isles Network is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, including those with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What we've done
- Images that convey information include descriptive
alttext; purely decorative images are hidden from assistive technology. - Each page has a unique, descriptive
<title>. - Each page uses a single
<h1>with a logical heading hierarchy. - Interactive elements (buttons, links, form fields) have visible or programmatic labels, and form controls - including tag and role selectors - are reachable and operable by keyboard.
- A "Skip to main content" link is available at the top of every page for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- The site works without JavaScript for core browsing (directory, hub pages, about, FAQs).
- The site includes a dark mode, with colour contrast maintained in both light and dark themes.
- Text and interface colours are designed to meet the WCAG AA contrast minimum (4.5:1 for body text).
Known issues
- The interactive map (Leaflet.js) is not fully keyboard-navigable. The same hubs are available as a keyboard-accessible list in the sidebar on the map page, and as a full text listing on the Hub Directory page.
- Some embedded third-party content (for example the reCAPTCHA widget used on forms) follows the accessibility of that provider.
